Ask us a questionIt depends on the type of lift and the building. A platform lift or compact home lift typically takes one to three weeks on site, while a passenger lift in a new building usually takes several weeks, plus the time needed to manufacture and deliver the lift.
After our site visit we give you a clear programme, and we plan the work to keep disruption to a minimum.
Yes. A new lift in a workplace or commercial building must be registered with the Occupational Health and Safety Authority (OHSA), and a lift in a residential building with the Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority (MCCAA). Lifts must also be inspected regularly.
We prepare the documentation and arrange the certification and inspections for the lifts we install and maintain.
Most lifts need a planned maintenance visit every one to three months, depending on how much the lift is used and its type. Busy lifts in hotels, offices and apartment blocks need more frequent visits than a private home lift.
Regular maintenance keeps the lift safe, avoids breakdowns and extends its life. We offer maintenance contracts tailored to each building.
In most cases, yes. Machine-room-less lifts, compact home lifts and platform lifts need far less space than traditional lifts, and our slim external steel and glass lift structures can be added to courtyards, light wells and façades where there is no room inside.

Yes. As an independent lift company we repair and maintain lifts of different makes and ages. We start with an inspection and a report on the condition of the lift, then propose a maintenance plan.
Often modernisation is the better option. If the shaft, rails and structure are sound, we can replace the controller, drive, doors, safety equipment and cabin finishes for a fraction of the cost and disruption of a new lift.
Frequent breakdowns, spare parts that are hard to find and uneven stopping are signs that a lift is due for modernisation.
