The palazzo is a scheduled building. The lift had to be reversible, visually light, and installed without touching the historic stone vaults — while the hotel stayed open.

A fully glazed Project Elegance lift tower inserted into the courtyard of a restored baroque palazzo, now a boutique hotel.
The challenge
Our solution
A free-standing, fully glazed tower with slim bronze-finished profiles sits in the courtyard and connects to the galleries at each level. A hydraulic drive kept the headroom low, and all work was coordinated with the heritage authorities and the hotel’s booking calendar.
